Today it appears I have lost my license. I looked at the screen of my phone whilst at a red light. This has caused no harm to anyone. But I had to pay the po po $300 large. I then was over the 12 demerit point limit. The other two fines were on public holidays (double demerits). I have had 3 fines in 4 years and I have lost my license. I can potentially lose my job and freedoms. Because I looked at my phone screen when stationary... let that sink in. You can play with your radio, read a paper, sip on a thick shake, eat a banana. You can drive without pants, you can probably get a decent head job all whilst driving around happily. But don't you dare look at the time on your phone screen whilst doing ZERO km per hour. I don't live in a war torn part of the world, our poverty still puts us amongst the worlds richest, but today I'm not happy. Let me grieve today. COZ THIS IS STILL FUCKED.
